The Acting Department of KRNNIVSA successfully conducted an interactive session titled “Mastering Auditions & Understanding the Casting Process” on March 14, 2025, for the 2022 admission batch. Led by renowned casting director Mr. Rakenth Pai, co-founder of Castmeperfect, the session provided aspiring actors with invaluable industry insights and practical training.
The day-long program covered essential topics such as audition techniques, casting expectations, self-presentation, networking strategies, and ethical considerations in entertainment contracts. Special emphasis was placed on overcoming stage fear, improvisation, and understanding the nuances of entertainment law and contracts.
Students got the rare opportunity to understand the practical knowledge to refine their audition techniques and career strategies. The interactive session proved to be a significant learning experience, equipping the future actors with the skills necessary to navigate the competitive entertainment industry.
