The Students' Council of KRNIVSA recently hosted a grand Felicitation Programme to honor the graduating students of the 2019 batch. The event, held on August 13, 2025, was a heartwarming affair celebrating the hard work and achievements of the students and was attended by all staff, faculty, and students.
The formal felicitation took place in the Main Theatre, with the programme commencing at 10:30 AM. The highlight of the event was the presence of renowned filmmaker Mr. Amal Neerad, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Following the official proceedings, Mr. Neerad engaged with the students in an interactive session, sharing his experiences and insights, which were greatly appreciated by all present.
The celebrations continued into the evening with a series of cultural events that showcased the diverse talents within the student body. The evening's lineup began at 6:30 PM with a compelling performance of "Floating Bodies," a play directed by Abheesh Sasidharan. The 45-minute performance, held at the Acting Floor, captivated the audience with its innovative direction and powerful storytelling.
The cultural night concluded with an "Open Mic" session, which began at 9:15 PM in the Open Space/Acting Floor. Students seized the opportunity to share their talents through songs, stories, and other performances, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere.
The Students' Council 2023-2025 extended their sincere appreciation to everyone who participated. The event was a testament to the strong sense of community at KRNIVSA, leaving the 2019 batch with cherished memories as they embark on their future endeavors.
