In a vibrant celebration of creativity and storytelling, the three-day film camp “Kinavu” (The Dream) concluded successfully at the K.R. Narayanan National Institute of Visual Science and Arts (KRNNIVSA). The initiative, specifically designed for girl students, was organized in association with the State Institute of Educational Technology (SIET) Kerala
The camp was officially inaugurated by Mr. B. Aburaj, Director of SIET Kerala. Mr. Suresh Babu R.V., Professor and Head of the Department of Animation and VFX, along with Ms. Samitha, Chief Coordinator, SIET, jointly coordinated the camp.
Running from February 14 to 16, the intensive workshop transformed the campus into a bustling film set. The participants were divided into four groups, each tasked with conceptualizing, shooting, and editing their own original short films.
Students and faculty members actively participated throughout the three days, making the film camp a highly enriching and inspiring learning experience for all involved.
The atmosphere throughout the three days was described as "highly enriching and inspiring" by both faculty and students. By the final day, the four groups successfully premiered their completed works, showcasing a diverse range of themes and perspectives.
