This course is designed for aspiring filmmakers who want to master the art of script writing and film direction. It offers a comprehensive curriculum that covers both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, enabling students to create compelling and visually engaging stories. The course typically lasts for 3 years, divided into 6 semesters. Each semester includes a mix of classroom lectures, practical workshops, and hands-on projects. Students will learn various aspects of film making, from conceptualization to final production. 

 

Course Content 

Screenplay Writing

Students will learn the fundamentals of screenplay writing, including structure, character development, dialogue, and plot construction. They will also study different narrative forms, both in fiction and documentary film making.

Film Direction

The course covers various aspects of film direction, such as shot composition, camera angles, lighting, and working with actors. Students will also learn about the technical and aesthetic aspects of film making.

Film Studies

The curriculum includes the study of film history, film appreciation, and analysis of classic and contemporary films. This helps students develop a critical understanding of cinema.
