The Acting Department conducted an acting lecture demonstration on Kathakali for the 2024 batch as part of the common course program on January 15, 2025. Dr. Ettumanoor P. Kannan explored Natyasastra principles, fourfold acting techniques, Navarasas, and storytelling. Live demonstrations and discussions enriched students' understanding of classical theatre, abhinaya, and symbolism, fostering deeper engagement with traditional and contemporary performance practices.
