Mr. Pramod Thomas is a veteran sound engineer and sound designer mixer with over
three decades of experience in the Indian film and music industry. An alumnus of FTII,
Pune, and his work is known for its immersive soundscapes and technical precision across
Hindi, Malayalam, and Tamil cinema. He has worked on critically acclaimed films such as
Enthrien The Robot, Nakshatrangal Nagarokkathu (Tamil), DEV -D Striker, Mumbai Meri
Jaan, Dombivly Fast, Go Mala Asla Hawa, Happy Journey, Double Seat, Thuramukham,
Eeda, Pada, Kaadu Pookunna Neram, Ila Veezha Poonchira, Nayat, Thangalaan, and Eden.
He received the National Award in 2010 for the film Gandha, the Kerala State Award in
2017 and 2018, and the Maharashtra State Film Award in 2010, 2015, and 2016.
Additionally, he is a recipient of the IIRA Music Engineering Award in 2011. Apart from his
creative work, he has also done acoustic design for many music recordings, film post-
production, and film mix studios in Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, and Kochi.
