Ananth Gejo Antony is an accomplished educator and artist with expertise in acting, theater, and filmmaking. He holds an MA in Theatre from Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady, and a Diploma in Cinema with specialization in Acting from the K R Narayanan National Institute of Visual Science and Arts, Kottayam. His academic qualifications also include a PG Diploma in Journalism & Mass Communication (IGNOU), a BTech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Rajagiri School of Engineering), certifications in Film Studies, Media Content Production, and Modern Indian Drama through SWAYAM MOOC, and a Certification in Video Editing from Kerala Media Academy.
Before joining the institute, Ananth gained extensive experience in the creative and cultural sectors. He served as Project Assistant at Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, Regional Centre Thrissur(Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India), and Content Editor for the PRISM Panel Project under the Department of Information & Public Relations, Govt. of kerala. He was also a Fellowship Artist in Drama under the Diamond Jubilee Fellowship by the Directorate of Culture, Video Presenter for Entri Software Pvt. Ltd. and worked as Visiting Faculty in Acting at Elements of Cinema, Kochi.
Ananth has acted in 11 feature films, 10 theater productions, 35 short films, 2 music videos, and 4 ad films. He has also worked as an assistant director and production executive in films, while facilitating numerous theater workshops.
With his multifaceted expertise and commitment to fostering artistic talent, Ananth continues to inspire students and contribute significantly to the performing arts.
