Dr. K.M. Abraham is a 1982 Kerala cadre IAS officer. He is an experienced Senior Officer with a demonstrated history of working in public policy, public finance, and government administration. Skilled in Financial Management, Higher Education Leadership, Information Technology. He has held various positions in the Government of Kerala and retired as the Chief Secretary of the state.
He is currently the Chief Principal Secretary to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Kerala and the Chief Executive Officer of the Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIIFB). He has previously served as a Secretary in the Department of Finance and the Principal Secretary of the Higher Education Department in the Government of Kerala. In 2008, he took charge as the Whole Time Member of SEBI.
Dr. K. M. Abraham is an M.Tech. in Industrial Management from IIT Kanpur and is a Licensed Financial Analyst (LIFA) professional from the USA. He also holds a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
